About
Alster is a store dedicated to hunting the rare, the bold, and the unforgettable. From vintage clothing and vinyl to lamps, furniture, and quirky décor, if it has style and soul, it belongs in our world. Each piece is carefully curated to bring character and individuality to your home and wardrobe.
From 2026, Alster will continue exclusively as an online store, offering nationwide shipping and local pickup at Karlskronaplan 11, Malmö.
Alster is evolving.
What began as a carefully curated vintage design store is growing into something broader — a creative studio where objects, graphics, and ideas live side by side. Vintage will always be part of Alster’s DNA, and I will continue to source and sell distinctive objects with history, character, and soul. But today, Alster is also a place for graphic design.
You can now hire me as a graphic designer — for artistic projects, commercial work, and custom prints. My creative process is hands-on and layered: a puzzle of analog and digital techniques, cut, combined, and composed into a cohesive whole. Each project is shaped by experimentation, texture, and a strong visual identity — never generic, always intentional.
This spring, the focus turns to a new print project: greeting cards. While they’re less common in Sweden than in the US, I believe there’s space for something different — cards that feel designed, collectible, and worth keeping. These aren’t cards you read once and throw away; they’re the kind you want to put on your fridge, frame, or save.
Alster is still about curation — but now it’s not just about what I find. It’s also about what I create.
